Come on and welcome the week with color – I hope you had a restful weekend and ready to enjoy a work week ahead, wherever you may be. Happy Monday and a purposeful mid-August week!

I love the colors and patterns of this accordion paper fan (above image found here) and these amazingly colorful rainbow cupcakes by Coco.

Do you hold your breath like I do when you see creativity so beautiful, so inspiring and uplifting? Have a Happy Monday enjoying the highly imaginative paper works from this wonderfully creative Russian family.

Hello everyone! I hope you had a happy weekend practising your story-telling. What makes you happy on a Monday? Seeing your own mini garden grow on your desk with this fun and simple pop-up card from Postcarden. Delightfully green! Happy Monday!

This is fun . . . . . . . and maybe not so easy – the storytelling, I mean. Great way to practise telling story from imagination for you and your kids. Wonderful idea from Yumiko Froehlich in her own words:
When you want to practise to imagine and tell a story,

Here’s a box template you can save and print to make the boxes:

I’ll leave you with this pretty ‘jardin des fleurs‘ by Yumiko. Have a fun story-telling weekend!

I’ve a fascination for letterpress paper products and capable, artistic folks who manually operate the huge, ancient letterpress printer to produce beautiful printworks. And when I read about Beth Snyder’s [a Missouri born artist and graphic designer and art director for a magazine] ‘Adventures in Letterpress’, I thought you would be as fascinated as I am with her projects. Her letterpress paper house [you-build-it] kit makes a great gift and a wonderful project to do with children.

‘Things that are round’ series on coasters and 16×20 posters coming up……..

What makes you happy on a Monday? ‘Watching a city grow before your eyes!’ Popville, designed by 2 French illustrators Anouck Boisrobert and Louis Rigaud, is a pop-up book where each page corresponds to a moment of urban development. Found in a little shop of paper and folds – Upon A Fold.

Justine together with her husband Matt, who are both very talented graphic designers themselves own this delightful paper store which stocks a unique collection of paper artistry from around the world – so many beautiful objects made of paper. Let me share some wonderful paper products with you.
* Beautiful, minimal paper blocks designed by Mai Miura for Shirara,

* Fun, whimsical Magical Menagerie - illustrated animal sculptures beautifully illustrated by Junzo Terada,

* Brilliant gift-wrapping idea – Le Rokkaku, your own little wrapped hexagonal gift house,

* Pretty bloom card that unfolds, petal by petal before your eyes by Artecnica,

* Irresistible birth flower paper rings for each month of the year by TT:NT a design duo from London,

* and a peek at their latest find – a paper doll house to be launched in the shop next month.

Happy Monday and Happy Week!
