Atelier Charivali, ‘Boutique de décoration pour enfants‘ is the charming baby boutique in Rouen, France. (Jurgita helped with my translation of ‘au fil rouge‘ in yesterday’s post, ‘merci‘!). I’ve a soft spot for mobiles and her cloud mobiles are as charming as her boutique. I think I’m going to try make one.

When I saw French designer, Claire Rougerie’s beautiful collection of hand-sculptured wire objects, it brings to mind a wire mobile I made together with my daughter for her school’s art project. Ana Ventura graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts – University of Lisbon – in 2000, with 3 years of specialization in Engraving.

Her work has been exhibited in solo and in group shows since 1996. She is represented in private art collections in Portugal and abroad. Ana Ventura is an illustrator for publications and books, especially children’s books.

She lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.

I love her art.
